Strawberry Cheescake Churro Cannolis

Strawberry Cheescake Churro Cannolis

Take your love of cheesecake, churros, and cannolis and combine them into one AMAZING dessert that is sure to please everyone! These easy strawberry cheesecake churro cannolis will be a huge hit at your holiday gathering!

Cannolis are one of my absolute favorite desserts! Every year on my birthday, my husband takes me to this amazing Italian place near us and I get a free one every time. It's always delicious and I look forward to it every year. I'm also a huge fan of churros and cheesecake (Disney World and Cheesecake Factory, duh!), so when I saw a recipe for strawberry cheesecake churro cannolis on Facebook, I was SO excited to try it!

These delicious pastries have those crispy edges of a cannoli and the sweet sugary taste of a churro, with the tartness of a strawberry cheesecake all rolled into one. It's the perfect dessert for a crowd or for only a small gathering. You can make as many or as little as you like and its super quick and easy.

I was a little unsure of how easy it was going to be to get the wrappers in a cannoli shape, but it actually worked out great. All you need to do is place the wrapper around a rolled up piece of aluminum foil, then fry it. Like the picture below. Easy peasy!

My husband and I had a lot of fun making these. It's a great treat for Christmas decorating too! :) Throw some Christmas sprinkles on there, or even roll the wrappers in colored sugar cyrstals! These would be super fun to make with your kids too!

Strawberry Cheesecake Churro Cannolis
Take your love of cheesecake, churros, and cannolis and combine them into one AMAZING dessert that is sure to please everyone! These easy strawberry cheesecake churro cannolis will be a hit at your holiday gathering!
Ingredients
  • 20-25 Wonton wrappers
  • 3 oz Strawberry jello (just the powder mix, don't add water)
  • 8 oz Softened cream cheese
  • 8 oz Whipped topping
  • Cinnamon and sugar for coating the wrappers
  • Oil for frying
Instructions
Roll a sheet of aluminum foil into a ½ inch tube shape, like a cigar. Wrap the wonton wrapper around the foil in a cannoli shape and seal the ends with a dab of water. Repeat with all of the wrappers. Once you finish, start making the filling. Mix the Jello powder and cream cheese until smooth. Fold in the whipped topping. Place a few wonton wrappers at a time in the fryer and fry until crispy. Immediately roll them in the cinnamon sugar. Once they are cool enough to handle, take out the aluminum foil. Using a frosting pipe or a zip lock bag with the end snipped off, fill the wonton wrappers with the strawberry cream cheese mixture. Serve immediately.
